Post entry quarantine is a unit in a country to inspect about imported seed from abroad through planting or through propagation. It paves a legal and safe pathway in seed industry to exchange material like seed in the world without the fear of infestation or entry of pest, diseases and viruses among the countries and ensures the good health of living beings.

Team GGAS HI TECH LABS can proudly mention that we have registered facility of PEQ station to legally import and inspect seed after that.

PEQ station located at GGAS HI TECH LABS including Laboratory, Ant room and growing facility is strictly observed by authorized and experienced team. Through this company is fulfilling its responsibility:

• To introduce seed free of insects and Pest and to minimize the risk of entry of harmful insects in our beloved country.
• To introduce seed free of diseases and viruses so that the chances of pandemics could be lower down.

Seeds, soil and climate are the basic ingredients of agriculture. It has long been a consensus that the more that is, or can be known about these prime ingredients, the greater will be the probability of an efficient and productive agriculture.

Seed testing laboratory is the focal point of seed quality control. In our seed testing lab basic seed testing is done for germination to determine how they will perform when planted in the field, the garden, or in a seedling nursery.

Our main objective is to serve the producer, the consumer and the seed industry by providing information on seed quality & physical purity. Test results may cause rejection of poor seed multiplication or low-grade seed in a count of law.

In our seed testing laboratory, we perform experiments to access the attributes of seed lot which basically includes:

• Moisture content Testing.
• Germination Testing.
• Vigor Testing.
• Physical purity Testing.
• Tetrazolium Testing.
• Cold Test.
• Hot Aging Test.
• Oil Content Analysis.
• Insect infestation (responsible for researching the growth, nutrition, behavior, and how insects interact with plants). The Seed Testing Lab also assists the Seed Packaging unit and warehouse by performing seed viability tests prior before packaging in order to ensure the quality of the seed before it is delivered to our honorable farming community.

  Besides seeds, end products harvested from various crops under trials are tested for shelf life, taste, appearance, oil and sugar contents etc. to satisfy consumer demands
  

This lab offers services to evaluate the seed, soil and environmental induce infestations and diseases on seeds and plants.

ELISA TESTS & Microbial cultures are one of the main tests performed at this unit.

Microclimate is the complex of environmental variables, including temperature, radiation, humidity and wind, to which the plant is exposed. It is the climate near the surface of the earth and it is different from the weather forecasters’ macroclimate or local climate because of the influence of the earth’s surface and, most importantly, the presence of vegetation.
